An early appointment in one or two days of time will be made if the baby has less than 7 days to check bilirubin levels again. Sunbathing can cause the baby to get rid of or burn the sun. It does not help reduce or prevent jaundice. The avoidance of herbal therapies in breastfeeding mothers will also help reduce the increase in jaundice.
